Pro - Accessibility - the ability to access data anywhere at any time.
Con - may not get all of the features you had without cloud computing. - Digital copies/clones
Pro - It can be used for organ replacements, etc.
Con - It decreases gene diversity. - Drones and unmanned vehicles
Pro - the ability to transport goods without having to employ staff to do so, less pollution.
Con - vehicles could become hacked, vehicles could break down therefore the company would be liable.
The most likely change that will happen in the next ten years will be artificial intelligence, this could impact the society as if AI are introduced than humans are more likely to become dependent on AI as a result, this has been shown with the social impact of social media over the last 5 years or so where more young people are using social media for good reasons but also for illegal activities. One example of this was the 2011 Tottenham riots where social media was used to coordinate attacks against the police and the looting of buildings, etc. AI will also impact the economy severely, with the high cost of creation smaller business will not be able to compete with large multi-million pound companies and franchises therefore meaning more vacant town centers and more abandoned buildings. AI will also impact the economy positively as with the introduction of AI work costs will be less. The worlds climate may also be affected by the introduction of AI as more servers will need to be made and more tech will need to be introduced.
